FEATURE FILM PROJECTS
"PAYDAY ADVANCE"

Genre: Dramatic/Comedy
Screenplay and story by Timothy McGhee
Estimated Budget:  $4.5 million

Synopsis:
"Payday Advance" is the story about a Los Angeles emergency room clerical receptionist named Stacey Jones, who falls behind on all of her financial obligations because of her fiancé Mel, the man she thought was her knight in shining armor.

Stacey trusts him with everything, including her seven year-old son Tyrell.  She even trusts Mel after he walks out on them following a car accident that reportedly is her fault.   Unbeknown to Stacey, she only has liability car insurance because of the irresponsible actions of Mel.  She files a disability claim for her accident injuries and rents a vehicle for a week.   Later Stacey finds out from her claims adjuster that she is responsible for all the bills and expenses from the car accident, and her car will not be repaired or replaced by the insurance company.

After Stacey learns the truth about her circumstances, she turns to the only other person whom she trusts, Gina, a street-wise, long-time friend, who is always trying to find a way to beat the system and enjoy life
to the fullest.  In Stacey’s desperation for money, she reluctantly asks Gina to help her find the best place
to pawn her mother's and grandmother’s jewelry, so she can feed her son Tyrell.  Gina introduces Stacey
to a corner strip mall in the heart of South Central Los Angeles, where she can sell her items to a man
named Uncle Buck, who since the L.A. Riots operates his pawn shop business out of a van he parks in front
of the strip mall.

Stacey, afraid of losing her family heirlooms, decides against doing business with Uncle Buck and tries
her luck with the Payday Advance store in the strip mall, owned by a person everyone in the neighborhood
calls the "Gingerbread Man."
Reginald Cleveland a/k/a the Gingerbread Man is a neighborhood hero,
always trying to make a contribution to his community.  He is introduced to Stacey’s financial situation
by Gina and is asked to help her out because Stacey does not have the necessary items required to qualify
for a Payday Advance loan.  Reginald is taken by Stacey’s honesty and personally loans her $1,000.00,
no strings attached, only giving her one stipulation “Just Pay Me Back.”

Stacey and Reginald cross paths again at the local city mall as she shops for shoes for her son Tyrell.
Still dealing with her financial hardships, Stacey accepts an outrageous offer of a two-hour shopping
spree granted by the Gingerbread Man.  She is not aware that their every move is being watched by the
FBI, especially Special Agent Marconi, a tough cop, who is convinced that Reginald is a drug-dealing,
money-laundering criminal, camouflaging that fact with his generosity to the community.

Stacey, old-fashioned in her ways, goes back to work at the hospital and cautiously begins to accept the assistance of the Gingerbread Man at the urging of her friend Gina.   Gina becomes a daily influence on
both Stacey and her son Tyrell, teaching them both how to be more in-tune with themselves and the
freestyle ways of the street.

At the corner mall,  there are various independent shops operating with a unique cast of characters running
each establishment.  There is a nail shop owned and operated by a Korean lady named “Ming.”  Ming is a
strict, all-about-the-money shop owner, who runs her business like a car assembly line.  Ming’s technicians
pride themselves in taking the roughest, toughest hands and feet and making them soft and beautiful.
Ming is the only worker in her shop that speaks English and always has to translate what her technicians
are saying to their customers.

There is also a 98 Cents Store in the corner mall.  The owner of this business is an African-American man
in his sixties, named Mr. Buford but everybody calls him “Mr. B” which stands for butt-hole.  Mr. Buford is
always complaining about the hoodlums hanging in front of his business and customers complaining about stocked holiday items from the previous year.  The attraction for the fellows in the hood is Mr. B’s young
niece Sheila, who is a cashier working part-time for her cheap uncle.

Another popular shop in the mall is the Beauty Supply Shop where on the first and fifteenth of the month,
all the ladies from the hood come and fight over the new supply of wigs and weaves.  The spot everybody
comes to eat in the mall is a Chinese food shop called "X’s Chinese Food," ran by a black Muslim husband
and wife couple named Mr & Mrs X.  You never know what’s going to be on the menu but the food is always good.  And of course, there's the Payday Advance/Check Cashing shop that offers the best interest rate on payday loans and check cashing in the city.  It is ran by a trusted Payday Advance clerk, who manages the
day-to-day operations for the Gingerbread Man.

As Stacey and Reginald's relationship intensifies, so does the pursuit of the FBI in trying to discover the
source of how Reginald makes all of his money.  A visit from Special Agent Marconi makes Stacey reconsider
her relationship with Reginald until he confronts her and conveys the secrets to his financial empire.
After
the FBI cannot uncover any incriminating evidence against Reginald, they get desperate and plant narcotics
in the Payday Advance shop and arrest him.  Because Stacey is the only person to know the true secret of Reginald’s wealth, it is left up to her to find a way to make the FBI and Special Agent Marconi own up to
the framing of Gingerbread Man and setting him free.

This movie is a captivating light-hearted comedy, filled with suspense, love and real urban flavor.  This is a very funny movie
that will make every person who has ever visited a corner mall in the hood recognize!

* This movie Should be rated PG 13 *

MUSIC INDUSTRY PROJECTS
MIC LITTLE AKA MICHAEL C. JOHNSON
FORMER DEF JAM/MUSIC WORLD
("PRE-TEEN ARTIST")

With a smooth falsetto that recalls a young Michael Jackson, it didn't take long for the pre-teen singer known as Mic Little to go from singing in church and talent shows to auditioning for L.A. Reid and Jay-Z.  He was born and raised in the heart of South Central Los Angeles, and Mic Little's parents made every effort they could to keep their son out of trouble.  With Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band and gospel great Daryl Cooley in his family tree, music seemed to be the way to go.

Singing and performing came naturally to the youngster, and soon his cousin T-Low of the R&B trio "Next"
took notice.  T-Low brought his cousin to the attention of Walter "Lil Walt" Millsap, a songwriter/producer,
who had worked with Alicia Keys, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, and many others.  Millsap thought his voice was
shockingly similar to Michael Jackson during his Jackson 5 days, and influenced the young singer to switch
from his birth name, Michael Johnson, to Lil Mike, which was eventually changed to Mic Little.

A 10-song demo was cut with Millsap writing and producing, and it was presented to Def Jam.  Def Jam's
bosses, L.A. Reid and Jay-Z, asked for a showcase, jumped on a plane, saw the singer perform in person,
and offered him a contract on the spot.  Fellow Def Jam artist Ne-Yo appeared on Mic Little's debut single,
the sweet "Put It in a Letter," which like the rest of Mic's projects were never released.

Now Michael is 17 years-old and working on a series of songs that is to be produced by B.E.G.  Now with a
smooth and mature voice, Michael is ready to show the world the talents that he have been blessed with.

Hello B.E.G. family.  I have been introduced to a simply fabulous multi-level marketing opportunity that I feel is a must consideration for all of us.  The company is called "Global Gas Card".  It is a membership company that provides a 10% rebate on gas purchases.  But the true benefit comes from a binary marketing structure that allows for a monetary benefit to be paid to new members that in most instances is at least $100.00 dollars a day.

My goal is to create a team from our club that all benefit from this opportunity, realizing the goal that I have set for $500.00 a day for us all.  Please visit the Club Page now and learn why you should join as soon as possible.
